Use words wisely

You must have heard, a pen is mightier than a sword. That stands true here as well.
Wherever writing a copy for a landing page, you must ensure that the words don't leave a wrong impression of the product/service.

1. Avoid Gobbledygook (aka super technical words)

Did you find it hard pronouncing or understanding the word “Gobbledygook”? These words are nothing but useless technical words which are thrown everywhere on a poorly written landing page.
Avoid using phrases like cutting edge or State of the art.

2. Don't overhype things

The maker/owner of the product is always excited to show their creation, but that doesn't mean that one needs to overhype the copy.
Say what's there, that's all.
Here's an example of a MacBook Air M1.

The new hyper innovative MacBook Air is here
What's “hyper innovative”? Wasn't the earlier one innovative?

Power. It’s in the Air.
Power in the Air? Ah gotcha, the new MacBook Air is slim like air but still powerful.

3. Your product isn't cheap

I know you have to build a product which costs less than the current options, but is it really cheap? Cause cheap means poor quality.
By using the word cheap, you'll be reducing the worthiness of the product.
